Recently, XtalPi took its outreach efforts to a larger stage, hosting an engaging AI Innovation Workshop for youth and families at the Shanghai Exhibition Center.

During the event, Guo Weijia, XtalPi’s Brand and Culture Lead, delivered a course titled Future Scientists: AI-Powered Drug Discovery. Using interactive multimedia, including visuals, text, and videos, Guo explained how to read drug labels, introduced the lock-and-key model of drug development, and showcased AI applications in pharmaceutical research. Hands-on activities, such as learning about molecular structures and assembling ball-and-stick models, allowed participants to experience the creativity and excitement of drug discovery. The event was warmly received by students and parents and garnered coverage from mainstream media, including Wen Hui Bao.
